In my mind there is no better way to say I love you than with sweet treats. And if you have ever had a Magnolia Cupcake, you know they take sweet to another level. Since it IS Valentine's day, the infamous Magnolia Red Velvet strain seemed to be the right choice for my honey. The recipe was easy to locate (epicurious.com), and the ingredients were simple. Some sugar, cocoa, butter and LOVE. Ok that was ridiculously lame, but tis the season yo. The only difficult part of the process was making the signature Magnolia frosting swirl, and as you can see my frosting was an epic failure....but whadya gonna do right? All in all, they turned out DELICIOUS.. even better after being kept in the fridge.
